Today we are happy to have participated in the gastronomic contest, the Woman festival. Arte en Femenino, in its sixth edition. You was still in time to taste the dish that Débora Frias has presented, a renewed version of fricandó with cuttlefish. The jury is made up of Trinitat Gilbert (Catalan gastro journalist and philologist), Vinyet Capdet (coordinator of cooking and gastronomy studies at CETT) and Oriol Castro (Chef, three Michelin stars).
On Thursday, September 12 in the Assembly Hall of the Casino Prado at 7 p.m., the festival presents a speech by Fina Puigdevall from the restaurant Les Cols (Olot) with two Michellin stars is scheduled, an event conducted by Trinitat Gilbert. Once finished, the prizes of the contest will be presented. This year the Sábatico Sitges Hotel, L'Acqua Sitges, L'Hibou, La Nansa, Corazón de Agave and La Cañateca have participated.
Many thanks to the Casino Prado and the Sitges Hospitality Guild for organizing such an event that at least helps to make the female hospitality sector visible and to publicize ideas, creations and new proposals both culturally and gastronomically.
We also want to put on record the recognition to Carol Martí that the Sitges Hospitality Guild awarded the day of Santa Marta for participation in hospitality development actions and solidarity participation in projects to improve the sector, betting on a traditional and high quality gastronomic offer with wines from the territory.
